To get to Blue Moon Riding School at Del Mar Equestrian Center:

From San Francisco: Take I-280 south to Highway 1 south toward Pacifica.  Continue over Devil's Slide, through Montara, Moss Beach and El Granada.  You will see horse rental stables on the right side of Highway 1 called Friendly Acres and Sea Horse Ranch.  Turn right after Sea Horse Ranch onto Venice Boulevard.  Continue down the road until you see the 25 mph sign and immediately turn right onto the dirt road.  Continue until the dirt road ends at a wide gate.  The gate opens out; open the gate, drive through and please close the gate behind you.  Park in the upper area (furthest from the ocean).

From Palo Alto and points south: Take I-280 north to Highway 92 toward Half Moon Bay.  Turn right (north) onto Highway 1.  Continue on Highway 1 for 1 mile.  Turn left onto Venice Boulevard.  Continue down the road until you see the 25 mph sign and immediately turn right onto the dirt road.  Continue until the dirt road ends at a wide gate.  The gate opens out; open the gate, drive through and please close the gate behind you.  Park in the upper area (furthest from the ocean).
