Blue Moons Riding School offers an outstanding horseback riding lesson program in a beautiful ocean view location. Blue Moons Riding School teaches the English style of riding, emphasizing safety and development of a basic balanced position both on the flat and over fences.
We offer camp programs and schooling horse shows. Instructors, Cheryl Maloney, (former Program Director of Stanford Riding School for 12 years) and Sara Williams worked together at Stanford Equestrian Center for several years before relocating to Blue Moon Riding School. They bring to the table diverse theories from many aspects of horsemanship with a deep focus on each student’s personal achievement, effectiveness, and advancement, thus far surpassing simple equitation instruction.
Regardless of experience, Blue Moons Riding School welcomes all students with a genuine interest in riding and horsemanship, and will work to develop a rewarding relationship.
